Impure White Evil

Impure White Evil is a fan created bootleg digital download album of that imagines what an unreleased Everclear album might have sounded like.

In 1996, Everclear went to the studio to record an album then known as Pure White Evil. After an initial recording session, the album was reworked; songs were removed and new songs were added as the album became So Much For the Afterglow. In 2011 rough mixes from the studio recording sessions for Pure White Evil leaked; Impure White Evil is a fan made compilation based on those leaked recordings with the intention to represent what Pure White Evil might have been. The track list is based on the order the songs appears as on the rough mix recording.

Many of the included songs did appear on So Much For the Afterglow, but the versions that appear here will sound different than the released version. The rough mixes of songs Amphetamine, Sunflowers, and White Men in Black Suits were instrumental only and vocals were added to the track using the center channel of the 6 channel surround sound version of the song from the So Much For The Afterglow DVD-Audio.
